Park Hall Forest Pre-School

Childhood As It Should Be

Our Forest Pre-School at Park Hall Countryside Experience connects children with nature in a safe and nurturing environment. We passionately believe children who enjoy the outdoors, play freely and explore their natural surroundings, will be more active, motivated and focused in all aspects of their life. To register your child or for further information, please contact  Lara Lloyd, Lead Teacher on 07539 964 719.

Outdoor Pre-School

We are very proud of the Pre-School experience we can offer children at Park Hall. Not only will they spend a huge amount of time outside surrounded by nature, they will benefit from a higher ratio of staff and a different philosophy to many other nurseries. We follow and enrich the children’s interests allowing them to set the pace and work in a way which suits them. The children are challenged and learn to overcome obstacles and investigate the things they are curious about, all with lots of space and no time constraints of a timetable. Children can begin around age 2.

Flexi-Schooling

The traditional school environment is not always the right fit for all children. We have lots of children who mix some days at school with some days in the forest, defer entry to school for a time and stay with us in the forest or enrich their Home Education with weekly sessions in the forest. We aim to be as flexible as we can to children aged 4-8 and their other learning environments to ensure they are always learning at their own pace. Get in touch to discuss your situation.

Holiday Clubs

Throughout ALL of the school holidays and half terms we provide a chance for all children to enjoy the fun of the forest and the farm. Children can attend a core session from 9.30-3.30 or stay all day from 8-5 to provide guilt-free childcare while you work.

A Typical Day

Based on the Forest School concept, trained practitioners show children how to assess their own risks, use tools safely, become independent and use their own initiative.

Activities are split between two secure forest areas and the indoor areas across Park Hall. Children will make friends with the animals and the play areas, indoors and out.
